I read an article that said Obama couldn't enforce the big tough red line HE established because he was busy negotiating with the Iranians, and he didn't want to upset them by attacking one of their good friends. I guess if you're trying to give away a pallet of cash in the middle of the night and you're afraid they may leave you stranded at the tarmac, you do whatever it takes. It would be a shame if we had to fly all that money back home. Well, same thing here....perhaps we are concerned that we might upset the Germans if we do anything, perhaps causing Russia to stop sending natural gas to Europe.
