What standing does the Fed have for this? Elections are the responsibility of the state to conduct and certify. It is not up to the fed to dictate what/how a state conducts an election, thus the differences between each state on early voting days, etc.. That is part of the states rights.

This will never happen IMO.. this would require a constitutional amendment and I do not see 2/3 of the states giving up their states rights to the fed.. and ratifying it. Besides 75% of US is in favor of voter ID laws..

We know. The process is some Dem candidate gets fewer votes than GOP opponent, election gets rigged. Yes, that is how the process works.
For ballots that can’t be scanned, you have representatives from each party agree what was marked and they create a new ballot that the machine can scan. It really isn’t controversial.
