    Re: President Biden

Nearly 80% of Americans blame Biden for inflation surge.

    Poll

But his poll numbers have held steady and everyone loves him! For real!
    quote:

The vast majority of Americans say surging grocery and household goods prices are causing them financial hardship and nearly 80 percent blame the Biden administration’s economic policies, a new poll says.

About 70 percent of Americans say the national economy is currently in bad shape and the majority — 86 percent — are concerned about inflation, according to the Fox News poll released on Wednesday.

Of those polled, 86 percent blame the COVID-19 pandemic for increasing prices and 79 percent blame the Biden administration’s economic policies.

    Re: President Biden

They may blame him. But Biden has nothing to do with the current inflation. That was impacted by supply chains shutting down before he took office and then demand coming back strong (which is good). Also influenced by Fed monetary policy, specifically the fact they buy 120 billion in bonds every month to pump liquidity into the system.

All the while Xi is watching Xiden fail in crisis after crisis, just biding his time before he pulls the trigger to attack Taiwan.

You think inflation is bad now? We won't have any high-tech products at all if Taiwan falls.

And the poll numbers have turned sharply negative against the Xiden sham of an administration. The daily Rasmussen Reports Approval Index (Strongly Approve minus Strongly Disapprove) has been worse than -10 each weekday for the last three weeks. That index has been at -16 or -17 for the last four days (today at -16, 27% Strongly Approve to 43% Strongly Disapprove). As recently as May 26 that index was at -3 (34% vs 37%).

Xiden's overall approval was at 55% total approve to 43% total disapprove on May 26. Today those numbers are 47% total approve to 52% total disapprove.

    Re: President Biden

Rasmussen reporting 47% approval for a Democrat is actually a pretty good score.

Relax, the adults are in control now. Too bad a few Republican governors are fighting a culture war on the COVID battlefield rather than helping solve the health crisis.

Regulating businesses just to protect the ability of people to be anonymously unvaccinated is the opposite of conservative ideals. Yet the tribe doesn’t care, because it supports the culture war against actual science.

And you are going to give Biden credit for those stock market records, too, right? Surprised that Ray hasn’t posted anything to that effect. He was celebrating each new stock market high a couple years ago.

Glad it was hot somewhere. At or below normal a good number of days in Texas so far this summer.

NOAA probably using a variant (pun intended) of the Dominion algorithm (and again) to come up with those figures.

If not for Biden's anti-business/anti-American policies the stock market would be even higher. As it is, the market is a remarkable entity, many forces at work, pushing, pulling it in all kinds of directions. Ultimately it is like water and seeks its own level.

What do you mean? Investors are so confident in the economic growth of the future that they are willing to pay very high (near record) valuations.

With Trump re-elected the DOW would already be higher than 40,000. That's what I mean. But, it's okay, I am still accumulating on dips. I take lemons (the Biden admin) and make lemonade (my investment portfolio).

I have never thought a POTUS has very much effect on the stock market, but the actually record contradicts your belief.

If you compare the annualized growth rate of the indexes under Trump and Biden, Biden dominates Trump (as he did in the election).

    DOW: 27.75% (Biden), 20.09% (Trump) —> Biden +7.66%
    S&P: 33.30% (Biden), 14.47% (Trump) —> Biden +18.83%

    Hah hah! LOL!

Gonna let this post just reside here as more evidence about you...

And, no, I won't reveal why.

    Re: President Biden

I am anxiously awaiting the condemnation of Biden from the left. The previous president ate ice cream or play golf during times of crisis. At least that’s what the lift continue to harp on. Biden is on vacation while we have a complete and total cluster going on in Afghanistan. Surely the Biden crucifixion carried out by the leftist media is eminent.
