I am happy that to oblige any business that wants to require its patrons to wear masks. My gym doesn’t. I wouldn’t go there if I had and reason to believe I had COVID. I don’t trust that others would make the same choice, but I am vaxxed and comfortable with the risks I am taking. If they made the dumb choice not to get vaxxed, they are taking the risk at this point. Apart from the gym, I have little exposure to get the virus in the first place. Before I was able to get the vaccine, there is no way I would have gone to the gym, even though it was open.

This isn’t a flip flop. We know antibodies wane over time. We have always known boosters would be needed, just didn’t know how frequently.

You are confused. The booster is used to increase the durability (the length of time you have highest protection), not how protective a full dose of the vaccine is for the 6 months after you get it.
It was never sold/marketed to be needed every six months.
