Watched another video of the entire event. Officers right next to theses knuckleheads didn’t perceive an eminent threat. Glass door that you can plainly see through. Officer Byrd shoots through the glass and kills one woman while putting dozens of civilians and officers in danger. Why didn’t the officer just shoot her in the leg? That’s what Biden thinks should happen. These people were allowed into the capitol building and went through metal detectors. No weapons. The officer admits he had no idea who he shot. When I am hunting, I have a responsibility to identify not only my target, but anything behind my target that may get obliterated. Why is a deer or tree more valuable than human life? Obviously, that is the case or Byrd would be under the jail. What would the response have been if this was a white cop shooting a non white?

Please show me the mob breeching the door requiring him to fire a shot. Not the small, 115lb woman who he easily could have taken down and cuffed, since she was the only one dumb enough to go through the broken door. She should have gone to jail for her part in trespassing and destruction of property. There was no insurrection. Nothing happened here that didn’t happen in every liberal hell hole city taken over by BLM. If it was so dangerous, then why didn’t the officers who were 28 inches away from these “insurrectionist” cuff them and remove them from the building. There were at least 6 officers and about 4 people banging on that door. The officers had guns. The civilians had……nothing. You have to do better if you want to prove there was any real danger.

That is a false narrative of what happened. They stood between the protestors and the door until tactical-geared backup came and then as they moved aside, Babbitt et al tried to go through.
