First, there is much ado about nothing re: the equipment left behind. It is not that big of deal...not as bad as some believe it is. Some of the operational equipment has been driven into Iran and Pakistan by Afghan army dudes seeking asylum. The Taliban has demanded the return of the equipment and those soldiers but both governments have laughed and dismissed those demands. 90% of the equipment remaining is already in need of spare parts and repairs and the other 10%, currently operational, will quit in the next 3-4 months. The $85 billion price tag which has been thrown out there was spread over 20 years and 75% of that was NOT paid for by US taxpayers, but by the Afghan government and other benefactors from around the world trying to assist Afghanistan build a democratic society. This is good news and should soothe some concerns.
Secondly, we are already seeing the inevitable split in the Taliban's leadership structure as it is a collection of separate factions, which comes together to fight a common enemy but that splinters once left to their own affairs. Civil war is coming and will be brutal. Soon, some of those towelheads we saw on the news with their AK-47s celebrating together the US departure, will be shooting at each other. May their aim be true! ISIS is a separate organization, independent of the Taliban coalition, and represents another player in the pending civil war to come. There are also two other such organizations, whose names I can't recall and couldn't spell anyway, that hate ISIS and the Taliban and the west and they will attempt to carve out their own slices of the pie. Finally, there are the pro-western forces still fighting to hold on. And, BTW, don't believe the US does not still have boots on the ground in Afghanistan...
Got confirmation, which I already knew, of Biden's cluster f - - k attack on those ISIS-K bomber dudes.
The "army" and I should say, the military in general, is incensed at the mishandling of the departure. NOT that we shouldn't have gotten out...most of my sources say we should have gotten out after 2004, and a few allow until 2011 and the removal of Osama Bin Hiding. But that is still 10 years ago. Again, not that we left, but how we did it. They all agree Biden is a walking cluster f - - k.
And this, I learned my army lawyer nephew, recently relocated to the Pentagon, is one of the chief attorneys working on the relocation, and vetting, of these Afghan evacuees. He served as a company commander, infantry, for two tours in Afghanistan and has lots and lots of contacts there. He just got out, through his personal efforts, one of his translators and that guy's family. Many military guys have been doing the same, since they know Biden has dropped the ball.
All you Bidenites out there....all you "orange man bad" types, have major egg on the face. And...blood on your hands.
On another note, speaking of Biden, did you see that heart-breaking report on that dead immigrant family, who were robbed of their provisions, including water, and left to die in the desert? The little girl, all of 12, put her younger sister on her back and attempted to save her but both were found dead about 6 miles from the rest of the dead family. Oh yes, open borders! come one, come all...and perish in the desert.
Blood on your hands Bidenites!
