I still think they will. The fda advisory panel just didn’t think we need to take that step for the general population NOW because they are comfortable with the evidence that, outside those that were vaccinated earliest (particularly the old and compromised) our immunity is still effective at preventing severe disease and death. Or at least sufficiently so that they would rather wait to see more data before recommending it for the general population. For those most at risk, they were unanimous in their cost benefit analysis - they should get it.

I think you are confused about the difference between the FDA and the USDA (which came up with the food pyramid).

Your inference skills are on the fritz. The FDA categorizes those with a BMI over 25 as overweight. I said that may give them access to the booster shot.

Then it should be easy to find their endorsement. It is not part of the FDA’s authority, which in the food space, is about food safety and labeling. Your real enemy is the USDA.
