Speaking of the media, one thing that hasn’t sat well with me at all is that Skip always did the weekly radio show rounds until the big loss at Mississippi State. He’s had position coaches sub for him ever since then. He needs to man up and fulfill his obligations, win or lose.
Hey, there’s some consolation in Holtz saying, “we’ve got to coach better.” Thank God, he thinks they can coach better because I was sure they couldn’t. Just kidding, he’s horrible and can’t do better. The proof is that he says that same thing after every loss and every loss leads to another loss.

This was planned preseason on The Company. Probably for The Edge too. But Skippy made it seem like he would be appearing on both at least one more time.
Cramer confirmed on the call-in show that the schedule of coaches who would appear was provided back in August. This week was "Guge" week.

I only watched the first half. Seems like our D came around in the 2nd half and actually played a decent game. There's no excuse for our poor offensive production. From what I watched, our tackles continued to be a liability. We rushed for less than 100 yards despite the fact that Williams was averaging 6 ypc. I didn't see the INTs, but 14/28 for 164 yards and 3 INTs is abysmal.
Perhaps this was our WTF game...I don't know. UTEP looked bad when I watched them, but they've got 6 wins now. I've defended the coaching in the first 5 games, but the end of the NC State game and the UTEP game make me think that, regrettably, Dwayne may be right about this season. If he is, it's time to move on.
In the meantime, I'm gonna watch the MLB playoffs and the Saints.

I’m hoping UTEP can find a way to win CUSA. I know they wont, but I hope they do. That would be the ultimate slap in the face to the Holtz fan boys when one of the worst teams in the history of college football can manage to win the conference, but Holtz can’t.
