Very interesting read, indeed. This Quote kinda says it all:
Three games into the Skip Holtz era and the crowd in Ruston is booing.

There will be no one in the stands for the next game. This season is over. Even if we beat the bad teams coming up, we are still a bad team. His time at TECH should be over! There is no life to this team! It is not going to improve without a change. Skip and Dr. Wood need to go! We need aggressive people in both places that want to use as a stepping stone. In most cases you have to succeed to get noticed. TECH needs a healthy dose of success right now.
Not even Skippy can pull that off. ODU whipping our toothless, hapless puppies won't be anything but a momentary departure from ODU's place as one of the worst football programs in the nation. They will quickly return to their losing ways just as soon as Skippy and his bunch leave town. "Literally"? Ah, no. Not even figuratively.
And, I hope ODU kicks our ass! I want this team to finish 2-10. Probably won't happen though, 4-8 is more likely as some of the teams left on our schedule are incredibly horrid...including ODU. UAB and Rice are sure losses, but ODU, CLT, and USM are all terrible!! It'll be the battle of the inepts. No one will actually win those games, it'll be a matter of who can lose better. I can see us "winning" 2 of those 3. It's possible.
For three years now I have been advocating for Griffin Hebert to be our go-to guy on offense. He should be that player every opponent's DC starts scheming for. They will plan to deny him the ball by doubling him and worry about other offensive potential threats during the game. But, Skippy is a moron.
I do like Marcus Williams #7. He runs hard and is actually trying out there. But alas, behind that lousy OL, there's only so much he can do.
I hope Austin Kendall can get his six-figure pharma gig back. He seems like a fine, young man and I wish him nothing but the best...but a true big time CFB QB he ain't. He is, however, still the best we got this season, so...finish it up!
Left at halftime. Saw the handwriting on the wall. Listened (for some reason) to the second half on the radio. The obvious happened. I swear during Luke's post game interview with the head coach (I refuse to use his name) said competed twice in the same breath! Then had the gall to say since we weren't in a position to win the conference championship now, we would work to get to a bowl game. "This team deserves a bowl game"...I swear. Did I dream hearing that? Did anyone else hear that? I'm know I'm not crazy. Fed up, but not crazy.
I can be a gluten for punishment.
Make that two...
Luke said somethin to the effect of, "Well, Coach we still kind of believe in y'all..." that in reference to making a bowl.
Heck, Malcolm, Teddy, and Luke spent most of the 4th qtr talking about the Miami games from 20 years ago.
BTW, this was the first time in 45 years of attending a Tech football game I left early. I was walking out just as Sincere M. broke off that long TD run early in the 4th. I stayed to the final whistle of some bad losses...like the 60-0 loss to Andre Ware and the Houston Cougars in S'port. But, I could never walk out on the Dawgs...until last night. Mostly a reflection on Skippy but also, as each of us is in command of our own mindset, I have lost interest in sports in general, and simply don't care anymore.
The opposite of love is not hate...it's apathy.
people don’t quite get that either. If you can redirect a persons anger, it can still be useful, but there is absolutely nothing you can do about apathy. Once a person or fan reaches it, it’s game over. I still get somewhat upset about all things Tech, but nothing like it used to be.
