Ive been a fan of Griffin Hebert from the get go. And it’s been a mystery to me why his number has not been called more this season. Further, we’ve had three WRs 6’+ and over 200lbs and Holtz constantly called the shortest guy on the fields number. No disrespect to Smoke, he’s a great player/person.
As for what Griffin’s all about watch his TD from the NC State game. He caught it at the 10, and four NC State guys could not bring him down.

I do hope Coach Sonny will use Griffin more.
I'm still mad at the LA Tech receiver (#33, or #83 Trey Harris?) for not fighting for that ball in the end zone on the last play of the game. He stood there like a stump and just let the NC St DB cut right in front of him for the iNT and never bothered to touch the ball or the player. If he just gets a hand on the ball, he was in the position to bat it back to Smoke Harris (#6) who was in perfect position to make the grab for the TD (a/la SMU game win vs Tech). Stop that video at 3:05 and 3:06, and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lqp2XraDtU0
Our WR was also in the perfect position to aggressively move toward the ball and create a Defensive Pass Interference play. But noooooo. He preferred to WATCH the game instead of play in it.
Where do we get these unaggressive football players who have such low football IQ's?
I don’t fully agree with you on this one. It looks like the receiver was turning to his right shoulder was focused on the defender who was all over him directly in front of him therefore had his back to the defender that intercepted and didn’t see him make a play on the football. Also, based on when the receiver turned his momentum was carrying him toward the back of the end zone and hard to stop. Don’t think he saw it coming… maybe he should have?
I agree with those of you touting Griffin Hebert, I have been screaming from the wilderness to make him our go-to guy. It's amazing how many teams have such a receiver...er, just about every team from college to the NFL does. Watched some of the game last night, the Rams have Cooper Kupp as their go-to guy. All the teams know it and they still can't stop him making catches, sometimes for 5-8 yards, but it moves the chains.
Henderson has decided to stay at Delaware. https://twitter.com/NolanHendersonn/...784643/photo/1
UNT signs only 8 players on early signing date, including former Tech QB JD "Barney Fife" Head (6'2, 138), and Abilene Christian transfer QB Stone Earle (6'2, 203).

It appears that UNT head coach Seth Littrell is choosing the same strategy this year that Skip Holtz chose last year, by betting on the transfer portal and other late signees and transfers in February. Of course, it didn't work out well at all for Holtz in 2021, so I suspect it won't work out very well for Littrell and UNT in 2022 either.
Best of luck to him. If he plays, and their Oline isn’t improved then I suspect our defense will beat him up pretty good.
Aaron Allen seems to be pretty pumped he has received an offer from Houston Baptist. They were winless this past season and have never had a winning record in the 9 years they have had a football program. Allen might be a huge upgrade for them. I guess we'll see if Allen lands there. https://twitter.com/IceyAaron/status...392968/photo/1
