Hate that Frisco. Prayers for quick healing. My brother just tested positive yesterday, so we won’t be having family time this year.

And now, my other brother who is in Nashville is positive. And possibly their 3 year old.

Crazy since my brother and sis in law work from home, have groceries delivered, and are generally reclusive. Just proves you can’t stop it no matter what precautions you take.

Now the FAILED Biden admin is kicking the solution back to the states. LOL! Biden said a POTUS should solve the virus crisis and if he can't, he shouldn't be POTUS. Well, I finally agree with something Biden said...he shouldn't be POTUS (and he never won the election anyway).

    Well...

Guess my wife and I missed the memo "to live in fear." We are both vaxxed (Pfizer) have had ZERO issues with either the vaccine or with the virus, only wear masks when it is absolutely "mandated" (we choose to pick our battles, and that ain't one to us), and we just rock on with our lives.

We popped into a Walgreens the other day and some old woman went ballistic on us "they're not wearing masks!" She was a customer in the checkout line. I noticed about half of the staff were masked, the other half not, and most of the customers were not wearing a mask. Heard the young man working the register, who was masked, remark to the old woman "they don't have to be." Get a grip, people!

The Sports Hall of Fame in Natchitoches requires a mask to enter. No exceptions. We were out on a walk-about this afternoon and were going to go in, but we didn't have masks with us. They lost $12 of entry fees on that one. Oh well!

I think that's a big part of the problem. People's immune systems are getting compromised --especially those that are "vaxxed"-- and then their weakened immune system can't fight off the different variants. Everybody I know that's getting COVID now has already been vaccinated and most have even had the booster shots.

Case in point: I recently attended a Texas High school playoff game with 3 friends from McKinney. Back on Saturday, 12/4/2021, we all sat next to each other for 2 solid hours for lunch before the game, and then walked down the street to the Ford Center in Frisco to watch the game. We all sat next to each other for another 3 solid hours to watch South Oak Cliff pummel Lovejoy in a Quarterfinal round. Three days later I received an e-mail from one of my game attendee friends saying that he had just tested positive for COVID and was being quarantined. Two days later another one tested positive, and he was being quarantined too. They are both big "shot" people, and they both had all their shots up to date to brag about. Yet, they still got COVID.

This was the 2nd playoff game the we all attended together in two weeks. So my exposure to these guys was big.

I could cite other examples too. But this is a true story, and I'm convinced that their immune systems have been so compromised from the "shots" and subsequent booster shots that they just don't have the immune system to fight off viruses anymore.

That's because you know a bunch of smart people who took the shot!

We just got done with COVID at my house. It hit the Saturday before Christmas. All of us were vaccinated with my two boys only being partially vaccinated (first dose). My son got it (about 2 weeks after Caddo Parish lifted the school mask mandate) and so did my wife (fully vaccinated). It was like a bad cold. My doc says that we all likely had it, but because we were vaxxed only 2 of the 5 tested positive.

Long story short: the vaccine did exactly what it was supposed to do and prevented serious illness. Only my son had fever and it was only for a short time. Like our former president said recently, the folks dying and in the hospital are largely unvaccinated. Take this Trump win and get the vaccine.
