This is the tipping point everyone feared. It happened because we outsourced our middle class to foreign lands, and the folks that truly benefited from that are now making huge salaries because of the huge profits made by the corporations that run off of slave labor and foreign parts.

It's why the political elites can thrive on demagoguery and class warfare, which does nothing to improve the lot of the working class. They provide peanuts to those they claim to represent from taxes that make us even less competitive, and the truly brain dead view this as some sort of social justice altruism.

Capitalism is not global, though some of the more easily led on here think it is (you know who you are, wink wink).

So even if Techman05 was referring to Q3, that came out in November. Their CEO didn’t say anything about a 4th booster until Thursday of this week. That is not “immediately”.

Moderna had 4.4 B in revenues in Q2 and 5 B in revenues of Q3 (compared against 157 million in revenues in 3Q20). The only thing that was “lower” about Q3 was relative to expectations. It was not lower to prior quarter or prior year.

There was nothing correct about what Techman05 said.

Here's a story published back on Dec 20th, where Moderna announced that "a double dose of the booster shot — 100 micrograms, rather than the approved 50 micrograms — was significantly more effective." So they were already positioning the public to double up and buy more. The company said that they "will also continue to develop an omicron-specific booster candidate which should enter clinical trials in early 2022".

Also from the story: Moderna’s vaccine had been facing some issues after both the company and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention acknowledged that it was linked to a higher risk of heart inflammation in young men, known as myocarditis.

They were experimenting with "gain of function" supposedly seeking a vaccine for their previously released China Virus - 2019 and this variant escaped the lab. They are a menace to the world and need to be eliminated.

You are mistaken, as usual. Moderna didn’t start talking about a 4th booster until this week. 3Q earnings were 2 months ago and they were not lower. They were higher than 2Q and higher y/y. Stock price has reflected the expectation of their being regular booster shots for a very long time.

Techman05 just got hoodwinked by talking heads again. The 4th booster was not a reaction to lower earnings. That was a stupid and wrong thing to say.
