    Ridiculous...

some of you have very short memories or you are purposely jumping on the "orange man bad" train. Maybe you have your reasons, and it is probably limited to being a keyboard "warrior," but you are wrong. President Trump....as an individual did all that was humanly possible. That warrants repeating, "as an individual." President Trump was lied to by the vast bureaucracy. When he spoke on some possible help, like "XYZ" drug has shown some promise, he was viciously attacked and that "XYZ" drug was labeled as being the equal of arsenic. He got no help, no REAL guidance from the medical field. Those doctors who dared to agree with him were themselves viciously attacked. Hell, Fauci was active in drumming up the attacks. His now public emails show that!!! So now you have the audacity to say he was duped, is a heal, is a moron????

President Trump is a true American hero! Not only regarding the Chicom biological attack on the world, i.e. the China virus pandemic, but in other policies he got enacted, despite all the forces arrayed against him.

There are no words to describe some of you...

I re-read techman's post, and he was basically saying the same thing you just did. I don't get any "orange man bad" stuff at all.

He was dragged, kicking and screaming, into doing stuff America's enemies (dims and others) wanted him to do.

I see where vaccine advocate Jim Justice (gov of WV who is both vaccinated and boosted) is feeling extremely ill from Covid 19.

The so-called pandemic of the unvaccinated continues, in a very convoluted way as it seems to infect both vaccinated and unvaccinated indiscriminately.

That was my objective in posting. He was either complicit or was in way over his skis. His moronic move was when he didn’t totally reject the input of the bureaucracy. And I think his ego factors into every decision he makes every day, all day.

Should we treat Covid like the flu? Europe is slowly starting to think so

    https://www.cnbc.com/2022/01/12/should-we-treat-covid-like-the-flu-europe-is-starting-to-think-so.html?recirc=taboolainternal

    KEY POINTS
    • There are growing calls in Europe for the coronavirus to be treated as an endemic illness, like the flu.
    • Spain’s Prime Minister, Pedro Sanchez, is the latest leader to suggest it’s time to reevaluate Covid.
    • Britain’s government has already told the public that it must “to learn to live with the virus.”

It's not indiscriminate when the immune response appears to go negative not too long after getting the booster jab.

That's why European health authorities are pumping the brakes and may have to slam the brakes sooner rather than later. US health authorities should follow the evidence and do likewise, but many of them are compromised in one way or another.

You contradicted yourself. On one hand you say he should have rejected all guidance/advice he got, and then on the other you say his ego drives his decision making. Well...which is it? Anyone so egotistical as you allege would reject advice from others.

It’s obviously not as clear in type as I thought it was in my head. I’m not sure how to say it. Seems to be either his ego and wanting to be the savior with a magic shot, he was led to believe that shots would be only a part and therapeutics would be implemented which only partially happened(he was duped), or he was in on it. I just think it is one of those 3 with #3 being next to impossible. I do not think it’s a case of orange man bad. I really think it’s strictly a case of him not knowing what he was doing and then the tail wagged the dog in the form of media and bureaucracy forcing his hand.

A little bit of a twist on option 1. Was all this set in motion by Fauci and his ilk long before Trump came along? Did they have the answer packaged for him to swallow hook, line, and sinker?

Again, I don’t think any mistakes Trump made were intentional.

    Re: Covid - 19

But earlier you stated instead of being a hero, he was a heal. I define "heal" as someone who knowingly does harm to others. Now you are saying his mistakes were unintentional. Which is it?

BTW, as I have stated, clearer than your attempts to make a point, I hope! is I think Trump is an American hero. He stood virtually alone....alone! He was given some bad advice, mostly from Fauci, which we now know for sure was on purpose, and he (Trump) tried to wade through a morass of information, most of it conflicting. When he gleaned onto something that appeared to work he would suggest it be tried, and then Bam! whatever it was was deemed to be wrong, stupid, worthless, harmful to people, etc... He was attacked every day at every turn, and so were those who dared to agree with him. The whole world was grappling with this new (manufactured) killer virus and like other leaders, Trump processed the ever-changing situation and at the same time, be a REAL LEADER and be optimistic and positive. Far better than pulling out his hair on live TV, screaming, "Oh God! we're all gonna die!" He even has been criticized for trying to keep people calm and reassured.

    Trump is an American Hero.

Oh, BTW, more people have died on Biden's watch than did so under Trump, and Biden has enjoyed all the advantages that did not even exist when Trump was thrust into the hotseat.

    Not so fast.

They are now wanting to change the numbers to separate the ones that died from Covid from the ones that died with Covid. They said they were particularly interested in doing this with the Omicron variant.

If that doesn't get his count down under Trump's, they'll think of some other way to manipulate the data.

Random sample...hold the one you need.

They will probably name some arbitrary date in 2021 to go back to and revise the numbers under Biden. Just par for the course.

    Re: Covid - 19

Did you know that every developed country has very detailed and strict protocols for pandemic responses? Did you also know that no developed country has followed their own protocols? In fact they have done the opposite in many cases. Is it really possible that every country in the world just botched the response?
