Crigger did his job, our pathetic offense couldn't push across one lousy run. LB rolled the dice using Crigger in this game, and I understand his reasoning, but now we are in a pitching dilemma, especially if Whorff has to go multiple innings.

Just go ahead and walk to load the bases again to set up the double play. Base hit scores a run anyway. Load the bases and a base hit scores two. Four runs or five, what's the difference.
Now go win the next one against them in 15 innings or so and hopefully we can make it tomorrow even with our lack of hitting.
