Well, well, well! Following the series with BYU and Nichols State you couldn't find hardly anything positive to say about the Diamond Dawgs and their HCLB. Now you are proclaiming that multiple SEC baseball giants are running and hiding from HCLB and his Bad News Bears. Now why would they do that. After all, HCLB doesn't know his butt from first base about how to coach a baseball team according to you and your merry band of baseball experts on this board.Sure it is. They were going to play the one game, hopefully win it and leave town to rest their team up for their SEC opener which was far more important than Tech. If they lost one, well no big deal, 2 or 3 SEC wins would make up for that. But risking losing 2 to Tech while also depleting their pitching staff for an upcoming SEC series would be big time stupid for them. Don’t think for a moment that the big programs don’t consider the very best angles for themselves because they absolutely do. Even their early season heavy home game schedules attest to this thinking. Its how they get a head start on winning records, power rankings and rpi.
Watch and see that just like LSU, Ole Miss won’t be scheduling Tech again anytime soon and not too far off will be Arkansas joining their ranks.

Please don’t let Burroughs think this some kind of extra special opportunity to be fooling around with who plays where. It’s not. This is when he should be cementing chemistry to start focusing on big chunks of repeated winning.
About the only thing he should be shuffling slightly is the batting order… like for starters swapping Matulia and Burchfield.
