On another note, am I the only guy on the planet left that didn’t know that Florida State’s HC Mike Norvell started his college playing career at Louisiana Tech? I was a little surprised when I learned that today.
Winning the second half is nothing except hollow when the other team is coasting after winning the first half 3X over.
It’s an insult to the people whose names are on our sports facilities of how bad we suck these days.
“We competed,” is what losers say. That’s why you hear it so often at Tech. We’re well established losers led by incompetent failures.

I remember several similar outcomes for top 10 ranked Notre Dame teams for a pretty long stretch. Who was that coach?

Is the drop in engagement on BBB a bellwether for interest in Tech football/athletics in general? This board used to be bumping. We went from having game day threads to game week threads. Does anyone even care anymore?
I’m open to anyone proving me wrong that the guys in charge aren’t a bunch of limp-D’s.
Overall, it seems, interest in any team consistently outside the top 40-50 is in the tank. Fans find something else to do easily enough these days. I watched 3 games this weekend and stepped away multiple times to do things around the house without missing a beat. Makes a difference when the digital antenna only picks up 2 channels. I’m pretty tuned out all together.

If you’re a G5, you’re locked out completely. We are in the worst conference in the G5 that’s filled with FCS upstarts. The ones that “escaped” to the SunBelt or AAC just made it to the top deck of the Titanic. Yeah we’re locked in second class and can’t get out, but all of their work just buys them a view of the inevitable. The lifeboats are filled with the big boys, and they’re not taking on anyone else. What’s not to love?
