I'm not a Constitutional lawyer or scholar, but I can read and in the 14th Amendment Section 5 clearly states only Congress has the power to impose the provisions of Section 3 of the 14th. Congress has NOT acted in Trump's case as it pertains to January 6th. I hope the SCOTUS includes that fact in their opinion. Of course, beyond the legal aspects is this fact: THERE WAS NO INSURRECTION ON JANUARY 6, 2021. At worst it was a protest that got orchestrated by the commies into an unfortunate mini-riot. And not even a riot. If you watch all of the video, most of which still has not been released since this is a major cover-up, the "rioters" peacefully waltzed around inside the capital with Capitol Police escorting them and engaged in friendly conversations. The only violence that day was committed by that piece of shit police thug who murdered Ms. Babbitt, and by the plants placed in the crowd to try to incite a real riot.
BTW, what is the proper spelling of "capital" and "capitol" in this context? I get those mixed up.
