My other comment was about the one year extension option that I think we have (not sure how it works - I'm just hoping neither side exercises it, not because I'm unaware of the risks/downsides of a new deal, but just because I am against mid-week October football and the GOR fee and them continually adding new programs we don't care about).
Our baseball fans need a lot of practice looking at balls and strikes. UNC pitcher piped several called strikes and our fans were livid.
Ball sounds dead off the bat. Were there changes made to bats or balls in offseason?

ESPN would be missing out on the ad revenue if we went with a 2-camera setup with a PxP person and put it on another platform. So they insisted on ESPN+ being the exclusive home to any digital broadcast Tech produces.
The look-in for the deal is in the next few months. I suspect ESPN will increase the dollars to cover production costs for more events. The question is how many more events? Ideally, every home game for every olympic sport would be covered.
FWIW, the first game today will not be on live radio. WBB will be on 97.7. Game 1 will be streamed on the Peach App.
Baseball will potentially be bumped in favor of WBB on 2/24, 2/28, 3/6, 3/9, then during the WBB tournament which will likely only be for one game.
ALL of the WBB games can be found on ESPN+.
The home plate umpire was inconsistent the entire game. We have a few fans who stay in the home plate ump's ear the entire game just for fun.
Hubka did a great job last night getting the win.
One base running mistake by our 3B coach probably cost us an early run. A couple of errors, but overall it was a good showing.

Yes. No signal from LB so Corona slowed down before he got to 2nd to look at the outfielder(s). Had he been held up at 2nd or told to round the bag he would have been safe.

We don't even have a live stream deal worked out with the radio guys for two live games at one time. The first default station used to be 99.3 for live coverage. Now they just use the app which prevents live listening to Dave while at the game
So far, so good thanks to a surprisingly much improved pitching effort and some sound defense. Hopefully this senior heavy team will figure out how to put the ball in play before the weekend series is over.
