That is remarkable! Baseball is a sport where a team loses now and then because, "that's baseball!" They are hosting one of the NAIA Regionals, May 12-15. How big is their stadium? I'm seeing comments from lots of folks planning to attend to root on the Pilots.
Not very big, similar to most high schools. Now the field is pretty big, LF 340, Center 400, Rf 330
Jax State has a cavernous field too, where the Dawgs will be losing…er, playing this week

Loyola (New Orleans) is also in the NAIA World Series. They won yesterday in the losers' bracket to stay alive. There is a lot of really good college baseball played in Louisiana. Maybe someday that "really good" baseball will come to Ruston. There's always that hope.
Loyola eliminated in a 9-8 loss. LSUS is now 56-0.
