Yes he should be totally focused on Ukraine instead of the screwed up things in America that 99% of his voters are fed up with. Yes I care more about woke crap being the new norm in America than Ukraine and Trump being “presidential”. You are a 1 percent guy who refuses to give in to anything not 100% Ukraine…just like the ultra conservatives who you constantly bitch about who vote against the GOP rubber stamp issues.

I can walk and chew gum at the same time. No really, I can!

I am NOT 100% focused on any one thing. I consider many, many issues all at the same time. Maybe you should try it too.

Well, while it might still not matter to you, as I have posted many times, this is not about Ukraine. It's about Putin and his evil intentions. If Putin had invaded the Baltic States or Poland, instead of Ukraine, I would harbor the same opinion: Putin is an evil POS and needs to be stopped. But, I understand you like Putin, and so does Trump actually.

No, not big on communism. Z, on the other hand is questionable, but I understand you have a crush on him.

Nah, no man-crush here. But I do support Z's heroic efforts to defend his nation. The free world admires Z and with very good reason. Nothing "questionable" about Z. He is straight-forward a true hero and history will remember him that way. Those opposed to him or trying to impugn him will end up with egg on the face.

Maybe the reason Trump doesn't like President Z is because he is a mirror image of him. That's what one YouTuber is surmising. He did an issue-by-issue comparison between the two (Trump and Z) and they are remarkably similar in policies, in rhetoric, in behavior, etc. Basically, Trump is MAGA, and Z is MUGA.

The reason I do like them both is for those very reasons.

Scotland loves Trump! Watching some reports on Trump's visit to Scotland and the crowds welcoming him and cheering for him are huge.

But...the lamestream media just focused on a very small crowd of fewer than 100 protestors. They had to use tight focus with their cameras not to reveal how tiny that gathering was. Not sure exactly what those protestors were protesting...actually, neither do they. They were just paid to be out there and hold up anti-Trump/anti-American signs.

Meanwhile, in the world of reality, tens of thousands of Scots cheered Trump, including at the airport to cheer the landing of Air Force One.

    Re: President Trump

China, India, Brazil, and several other countries, are thumbing their noses at Trump's secondary tariffs if those countries continue to support Russia by buying their oil. The spokesman for China was particularly put-out saying China is a sovereign nation and will not be dictated to by any nation, "including Washington." Well, we know he meant the USA...anyway, China is saying they will endure 500% tariffs to continue supporting their good friend and ally Putin. Funny thing is how all the TDS sufferers out there, even those who are staunch supporters of Ukraine, are thrilled by this. Just goes to show that their TDS is stronger than their supposed support for Ukraine.

Ball is in Trump's court again. But at this point I don't think there's much more he, or the US, can do to try to support Ukraine. We kept hearing that "strong sanctions" were needed to bring Putin to the negotiating table, and these are strong sanctions, designed to hit where it hurts Putin the most, his export oil enterprise. But if his primary customers (China et al) are going to continue to buy his cheap oil despite the added tariffs, then game over. The US will NOT escalate this any further. This was the big hammer blow and apparently it won't work.

Back to the drawing board, I guess.

    Re: President Trump

In addition to dumb comments made about India's economy, Trump has made another gaffe firing the labor stats lady. His complaint is she was a Biden appointee and thinks he cheated to make the employment numbers look worse than they really are. A bruise to Trump's fragile ego. And this might be true. I wouldn't put it pass any libtard 'crat to cook the books to favor a dem in office and to damage a Repub in office. Cheating is what they do. Really quick, a flashback, there's no doubt in my mind, and some pundits agree, that the books were not just cooked, but roasted! to prop up obummer's lethargic economy all 8 years. No way, absolutely no way, could the economy struggle for 32 quarters at an average of 1.9% growth (reported..). Just cannot happen. The truth is there were TWO recessions during obummer's tenure but they were covered up to protect obummer and the dems. So, is this Biden person cooking the numbers to make Trump look bad? Probably...

but! and this is another reason Trump drives me nuts at times, this is making a case for the Fed to cut interest rates. Which is exactly what Trump wants to happen. Trump should embrace the jobs' numbers and say to Powell, okay, cut the rates because the economy is slumping. However, the narcissist, egotistical Trump can't play the game. His kneejerk reaction is to attack the numbers and the person he blames.

Pretty sad when even Jim Cramer sees Trump's gaffe. Cramer just said Trump should have embraced the jobs' numbers as evidence the Fed needs to cut rates. That is true.

...pretty sad when Jim Cramer and I see eye-to-eye

The dems, predictably, are crying foul over the firing of the BLS (B...S) commissioner, defending her by saying she doesn't have the capacity to alter the numbers. The stats are gathered and compiled by hundreds of staffers, and the commissioner only sees the final numbers when it is time to publish them. This is too easy to debunk...

These staffers are all Deep Staters too, and if the commissioner is a libtard, like this one, then these staffers know they can skew the numbers to favor the dems, damage the Repubs, without any consequences. This is why we need a real commissioner who will insist on REAL numbers being gathered, compiled, and published.

The EU has announced they are pausing, for 6 months, the increase in tariffs against the US pending further negotiations with the Trump administration. Obviously, behind the scenes, and out of the realm of the lamestream media, serious negotiations are going on and progress is being made. Both the European markets and the New York Stock Exchange are responding positively to this news. The market is green today.

The whole issue is the PROCESS by which the numbers are gathered in the first place. Just continuing to do the same thing over and over, even if they were not cooking the books, is pure lunacy when the numbers are being revised over and over again by material amounts. In this case, a material amount would mean any value that would cause anyone that depends on these numbers to act in a way they would not have acted if the numbers had been correct in the first place.

Of course, most people KNEW the numbers were bogus to begin with. In the dissenting fed report, the two governors that believed we should have lowered rates based that dissent on the labor statistics revisions they KNEW were coming in the next few days.

We need a BLS head that doesn't just do things the way they've always been done. One with a brain capable of real analysis would be a good start.

    Re: President Trump

Good points. Some are saying the numbers are real which is why the market is tanking. Only...it has not been tanking at all, it is up this year, and WAY up since the early April pullback when the tariffs were introduced. One pundit, on CNBC, said there are many private entities that track the jobs' numbers, he cited JP Morgan for instance, which has a staff of economists, and they were expressing concerns over the employment data, even before the BLS released their numbers. I have not independently confirmed the JPM findings; just taking the guest's on CNBC word for it.

Factors that affect the economy, or more to the point, are measurements of the state of the economy (the scorecard) are employment numbers, the CPI, the PPI, quarterly GDP, trade stats (surplus vs. deficits), and some others. We need accurate numbers, those unaffected by political whims. But each of these are snapshots and are strictly historical recordings. Like in a football game you look at the scoreboard and reads HOME 14 Guest 3. That just tells you WHAT HAS ALREADY HAPPENED in the game and may not be a predictor of what WILL happen the rest of the game. Likewise, strong or weak economic numbers (if accurate) are reporting of what has already happened, usually in the most recent quarter.

In today's technological world, instant sharing of information, accurate and up-to-date stats is easily acquired. Yep, the Federal government is probably still relying on antiquated information systems, one that is heavily dependent on human interactions: paper shuffling. This is to keep the HUGE federal workforce and its powerful dem-friendly labor union in play. Computer systems, operated by relatively few folks, can do a better job.
