Putin is guilty of war crimes, Netanyahu is not. Therefore, even if Net would go in front of this court he would be acquitted; Putin would be convicted.
While I don't think it will happen, it would be awesome for the US to arrest Putin should he come to Alaska. Still have my doubts that Putin will show up. Will probably send some representatives. Putin is playing Trump like a cheap guitar. Of course, Trump is a willing participant in this game.
As I have posted here and on blogs: Trump = Modi = Xi as it pertains to Ukraine. None of the three are interested in helping Ukraine and are just playing this for whatever economic value can be extracted. Now, some of you will say, good! Trump needs to parlay this into a payday for the US (taxpayers). Okay, fine, but Trump should have the balls to come out and say that then. Cut the BS! I don't like that crap.

As for Trump's position on Ukraine, maybe it is not another eff up if his plan is to mimic Modi and Xi. Fine, but say so. Nothing worse than being a typical politician...Trump: I am going to do "A". Then he does "B". This occurs time and time and time again re: Putin. It happened again Friday; now the world waits on the next big date, August 15th. Vegas has the odds at 7 to 1 that Trump once again fumbles. (Just made up the Vegas odds to make a point.)

One pundit, while trying to rationalize Trump's actions, came up with a theory. This is just his take on what is going on. According to this fellow...
Trump is trying to drive a wedge between Russia and our real adversary China. Trump likes Putin (for some sick reason...I added this) and thinks the US can benefit economically from a strong working relationship with Russia. China is heavily dependent on Russian oil securing close to 40% of their domestic needs from Russia. Does Trump think he can get Russia to cut off supplying China with oil? Or, and this is more likely, get China to agree to more favorable agreements with the US, especially in REMs, in exchange for Russia continuing to sell oil to China. If this is what Trump is thinking, or something along these lines, then he is really reaching! But, this is what the rest of the world is left doing...scratching their heads trying to rationalize Trump's (stupid) actions re: Putin.
Here's a better way to achieve good relationships with Russia: crush Putin and his evil regime and help the Russian people secure good/democratic leadership which will be friendly to the west. Then this new Russian government can deal with China, which is threatening to seize territory from Russia. And, this new friendly government can make deals with Trump/US, together with a deal with Ukraine, for their REMs and other natural resources, further isolating China.
Now, if the poker-playing Trump is planning anything along these lines then good for him. But, we'll have to see.
Oops! I just learned the US does not officially recognize the authority of the ICC (International Criminal Court) and holds no obligation to enforce any warrants issued by the ICC. I suppose that means the US reserves the right to arbitrarily enforce such warrants when it benefits the US.
Okay, good press conference by Trump, meant to address the DC mess but the reporters kept asking about the Putin summit. Trump spelled out clearly what he is looking for and what he will do depending on Putin's reaction. Given what we know about Putin, I will say this summit is a non-starter. But, Trump might be holding an ace up his sleeve that he will only reveal to Putin. Then, the other side of this is the reaction by President Z and NATO. Trump acknowledged that Z and Europe might balk at whatever comes out of the summit and then Trump said, "I will tell both sides, keep fighting and good luck."
Whew! Trump is losing his mind. Sending an autographed photo of him and Putin, to Putin. I suppose he put on lipstick and kissed it too. Trump also announced Putin is requesting being able to attend the 2026 FIFA World Cup, hosted by the US, Canada, and Mexico. And Trump said he hopes he can make that happen. After all, Putin is really a great guy, Trump insists. Trump has lost it.
And yeah, on the American company targeted, Trump's only response is, "I am not happy about it."
Oh, and Trump implied he is responsible for the raid on John Bolton's home and office. Man! Trump wants to be impeached.

Obummer and Biden are the two worst presidents in history. At least Carter went to his grave knowing he was no longer the worst of all time. Must have been some comfort to him. As for Bush, and I assume you mean Bush II, although Bush I is just as lacking, Bush is your typical "Country Club" Republican. Just one small step above a RINO, which ain't saying much.
As for Trump, I have always said his mouth is his own worst enemy. He's gotten worst thus far in his 2nd term. I suppose since he's a lame duck with no elections to worry about he feels ZERO need to even pretend to be presidential. And most of it is totally unnecessary. It does not accomplish anything. It just makes him, and by extension the US, look stupidly foolish. Yeah, I know, he'll never change. And I, and others, will continue to cringe when he says dumb things. Like...Crimea is as big as Texas. How stupid! All of Ukraine is not as big as Texas...or they're close.
