We now have a biology professor running that part of the program. Makes sence to me, what about you.
    Yup, par for the course.

    Post Arrrrrrgh!

Hey y'all, ScourgeOf7seas knows how ye feel. Me Pirates went through such a spell, which ye find yurselves currently, not too long in the past. Although I actually thinks me Pirates were in a worse spot. Today, and not a long time coming, we finds ourselves atop of C-USA East with our eyes on the C-USA championship game.... and a possible Liberty Bowl berth on the horizon. Arrrrrr!

We buccaneers were marooned on a desperate island of despair. What got us off that island, ye ask??? Looking back, I'd like to say that it was all owed to the Pirate crew never giving up on the cause. ScourgeOf7seas doesan't doubt that support for the program factored in considerably, but that in itself wasn't nearly enough, mateys. No, leadership from our fearsome and cunning Pirate Captains was the real difference.... we have two Captains at ECU. Within less than a years time we brethren of the Carolina Coast hired a new leader for our entire Pirate fleet (Chancellor Steve Ballard) and a new captain of our athletics corsair (Capt. Terry Holland). Since that time we have seen our Jolly Roger raised quicker and bolder than ever before. Now we find ourselves hunting the open seas with a purpose and with success again. We would not be where we finds ourselves without the leadership we have at the top. That be where it all starts. And it doesn't start without it. Simply hiring a good football coach be just a temporary bandage, and not a cure.

Good luck ye seaDAWGS. Scourge be keepin an eye on ye wishing ye nothin but fair seas and steady wind.

Arrrrgh! No quarter given. If ye want somethin ye have to take it, cuase nothin in this world is given to ye. Happy hunting, buckos.
