I guess I'll just call around to a couple of places down here in BR just a little bit before the game to see if my buddy and I can hit them up for the game. Otherwise, I suppose I'll just be listening to game audio online. Go Dave Nitz!
Just checked and I also have access to CSNW (Channel 656, DirectTV) in Tallahassee. Looks like all you need is to find some place that has direct TV with the sports add-on package (not gameplan) as mentioned by others previously.
Jordan Mills on choosing Tech:
“It’s a great experience seeing them play. It was a good atmosphere. The fans stood up the whole game and never sat down. They have a great fan base.”
$12 sports package. Direct TV Channel 656. Baton Rouge.
I got the sportspackage for Dish yesterday. 5.99 a month. I'm sure I will cancel it after football season but at least I will see the game today.
The text in bold is for CABLE customers. DirecTV and DISH sports packages carry it nationwide 24/7/365 except when there is a pro sports blackout.
This week has the highest percentage of FBS games available on some DirecTV channel that I can remember. There are 65 games invoving an FBS team and 47 of them I could choose to watch with DirecTV Total Choice Premier (includes the SportsPack), local channels, and ESPN GamePlan.
All of the DirecTV sports channels are in the 600s except for ESPN, ESPNews, ESPN Classic, and ESPN2 (206-209). ESPNU is channel 609. Everyone would at least have their local FSN affiliate regardless of location with the basic DirecTV package. I have the Sports Pack and get everything in the 600s except Setanta Sports that requires a separate subscription.
Well time to cancel the sports package.![]()
