I am sure there are a lot of people that don't remember what went on at Muther's (was Fargo's before Muther's) except maybe when it was still a church. Wong's was in the building immediately west of Muther's.

I've been there twice when I was in school, great stuff...towards the last years of wong's their hours of operations weren't very consistant. I was told by someone that they open when buddha tells them to.
I think food threads grow faster than anything else here on the ol' BBB.
FWIW, I love Johnny's. You know what sucks? Pizza Inn. It's always dry as hell and all in all just not any good. I can't fathom why people just don't go across the street.
At my 20th high school reunion in Strop City, Sweep The Kitchen was one of the appetizers and the out-of-towners made it disappear.
Speaking of Johnnys getting National publicity was on the ESPN show Varsity Inc., in one of the episodes it shows people eating some johnnys and even a sign saying Johnny's pizza. I love some Johnnys. Proally one of my favorite pizza places of all time
It was kinda hard to beat a burger at Rabb's when you were drunk. Anyone remember those? Do they still sell burgers there?
Cushino's is a name I haven't thought of in years, but it brings back some great memories. Best muffaletta ever! It was originally across the side street from Bogard Hall. Johnny's is good now. Better than most anything else in North Louisiana.
I'd also like to mention that all of the pizza joints in Chicagoland were quite interesting. There was no Chicago style pizza, only normal style pizza, which of course, up there means Chicago style.
For a guy that doesn't like his pizza that way...this posed a major problem.
Mexican and Chinese places were even worse, but I was not impressed with the "pizza capital of the US".
...yes, I ate Mexican food IN THE MIDWEST. I have no idea why.
Pizza is a big deal up here as well...some of the best I've ever had. Mexican and Chinese are pretty rough. There's some decent Italian if you know where to look. The best thing we got is from Cincinnati...Greater's Ice Cream

Is Trenton Street Cafe still up and running?
I went to Fuzzy's, here in Houston the other day, and I had Chicago Style. I thought I would like it, being a crust man, but I absolutely hated it. Way too much crust.
Anyway, I am in the heart of good Mexican food. El Tiempo is a place you have to try if you are ever in Houston, great fajitas and even better drinks.
I also found a Shogun's in Cypress, it is good, but cannot touch the one in Shreveport when it comes to Hibachi.
