''Don't be a bad dagh..."

Pretty obvious that we're not going to be successful at the levels we would like until our budgets get in line AND it's going to have to come from corporate donors, and alumni/friends of Tech donors. Great opportunity. FYI, TA&M advertises that they have "200,000 active alumni giving a minimum of $100 annually". As ole Cable Man says, "Get'er done". Have to start somewhere, and 980 donors is a start, $7.0M an interim goal.
Of course it was the same presentation as at S'ort's "Tech & Tails" event. DD's very last statement stuck with me.
"I'd love to be able to talk face-to-face to those 70,000 Tech alumni, but it's physically impossible," Dooley told the 150 or so crowd in West Monroe today. "But if everyone who hears this message tells another Tech grad to get involved . . . . ."
Isn't that the best way to build a groundswell?

No mentions of "Northeast".
Paul Letlow attended from the N-S. Coach DD, however, did ask one of the videographers to not video his entire speech (with the power point in the background.).

I thought that it funny when he said he wouldn't say anything about the school in Monroe because a TNS reporter was present.
Dooley is very dynamic speaker. I thought it was an excellent presentation. It certainly made an impression on me. He wasn't walking around with his hat in his hand begging for money. After seeing where Tech is and where we need to be to be competitive in D-I made me want to give.

Maybe this presentation needs to be recorded, put on a DVD, and sent to the 70k living alumni.
Jordan Mills on choosing Tech:
“It’s a great experience seeing them play. It was a good atmosphere. The fans stood up the whole game and never sat down. They have a great fan base.”
Or have it posted on Youtube or the Tech website...then email your friends the presentation.
Great idea!
Anyone know the approximate cost of this and how to get this implemented? This DVD could be sent out with a professional designed pamphlet highlighting and explaining the presentation in further detail and combined with an LTAC brochure/membership form and ad for the new online team-shop.
They were recording the one in Ruston yesterday.
