Jordan Mills on choosing Tech:
“It’s a great experience seeing them play. It was a good atmosphere. The fans stood up the whole game and never sat down. They have a great fan base.”
Although I do love the Tomlin/King combo:

Needed some soul this morning, and nothing beats the Rev. Al Green - Greatest Hits.
nofx - dont call me white
Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble: Blues at Sunrise (basically a greatest hits that doesn't have his "greatest" hit). Still a good cd.

Oh Brother Where Art Thou Soundtrack
I was rereading this thread (very entertaining, I love the long threads that seem to take on a life of their own and still hold value - if only for laughs - after they run awhile and you have forgotten some of the tangents) and saw this. Looked them up on youtube and wikipedia (I had heard of them back in the day, may even have a song of theirs on a compilation) but didn't know much. All this is to say that they have a cd called Out of the Silent Planet named for a book that I read just a few weeks ago. I am in the middle of one of its sequels now.
The new Toadies album.
