I doubt he'll leave, he's a Tulsa grad and they love him here. They also have a lot of rich donors who would be willing to give him anything he wants. He could very well leave, but I'd be surprised.

I thought that too. However, if an Auburm or some other "big time" school coughed up the $$$, I think he'd be interested.

I want the Golden Hurricane, matchups be damned. I want to see how we stack up against a program that's about 2-3 years ahead of us in this process.
How does this change anything? CUSA still has 6 bowl teams for 6 bowl games. Who can be traded for a CUSA team?

If St. Petersburg doesn't like its CUSA team, they may take a trade to get FAU.

Re: Tulsa is now In Play for the I-Bowl

I saw this on the Memphis board:

    Liberty - ECU (9-4)
    GMAC - Tulsa (10-3)
    Texas - Rice (9-3)
    Ft. Worth - Houston (7-5)
    St. Pete - Memphis (6-6)
NO Bowl - Southern Miss (6-6)

I know the GMAC Bowl doesn't want Tulsa, but why not just take Houston and send Tulsa to Ft. Worth? I think we still need the trade for FAU to St Pete for Memphis.

I've heard that USF will sell out the St Pete Bowl by itself, so the other team doesn't matter. USF doesn't want to play FAU just like we don't want to play ULL.

I just thought of one scenario that could make sense. The GMAC could take Memphis, which would leave Tulsa in the St Pete Bowl. Tulsa may want to play closer to Oklahoma. Who knows? But, ULL is definitely still a player.
