I read the ESPN columnist's take on the pairing this morning and, lo and behold, Nick turns around and reads it this afternoon.
I stopped listening for the day. I may join Lightning and take a holiday from the board and local radio.
There was a press conference last night they could pull sound bites off of from both coaches. Something fresh. Something to help inform the potential fan base about the two teams and GIVE THEM A REASON to go see Tech and NIU.

The poster known as Spinoza from the Pawlitics thread is apparently from northern Illinois. He has previously mentioned that he likes a restaurant in Morris which is less than 60 miles from DeKalb - the home of the NIU Huskies. I wonder if he is aware of the Independence Bowl matchup and if he might want to make the trip to meet some of his BB&B "friends". Maybe one of you TECH fans who frequently post on the Pawlitics board should invite him.
