As soon as it's cost productive I'm sure that's possible. aTm's facility is awesome.
Article about Texas A&M video production:
    http://www.aggieathletics.com/sports...082906aaa.html

Their control room has it's own cooling system keeping the equipment cool at 60 degrees. Also the same room does the production for the football and basketball games. In the article it says they have 10 ppl in the control room, 13 ppl on the cameras, and 5 editors producing in-game films (I'm assuming halftime highlights, etc)...that's a big production crew. Also they have a lot of students helping out (it helps to have a broadcasting program)

I seen their production, it's nice and probably best in the NCAA.

It looks to me like they always have Ruston High's graduation the Tuesday following the Tech graduation. That way, the TAC is set up for graduation. Just remove a few chairs and banners, and graduation is ready to go.

If true, that is pretty clever--and efficient.

I think I will NOT look at the progress for a week or so, because it seems like it is taking too damn long! I am very impatient...I have been waiting for this for about 8 years now!

This may be a stupid question, but I keep wondering about it. Is there going to be a net behind the goal post so a field goal or extra point attempt doesn't hit the screen? I assume if a kicked football were to hit the screen it would break it. (the screen)

No net. Haven't seen a bid for it in the Ruston Leader.

I think the screen is much sturdier than you think. It's an outdoor display that'll be in the elements (storms, sleet, hot sun, etc.)

ah yes, when they were forced to give up the name "indians", they should have gone with the "fightin' pipebombers" instead of warhawks.

Forcing them to give up their name is what is wrong with college football today - the problem being the collective idiots that run the NCAA.
