I really enjoy single barrel or gentlemen. I don't do the regular black label though.

I know of ONE MACHINE in Minden that has it - none in Homer or Arcadia....

But yes, there are times when a DP Icee hits the spot -

Didn't there used to be a Dr. Pepper spout on the ICEE machine in the student center? Circa 2003-2004?

There is a store next to me in Houston that has Dr Pepper, Mountain Dew (maybe), and Coke. I was kind of pissed because I was wondering where the strawberry was. I will have to give DP a shot. Also, the ICEE machines were all fancy and whatnot, it just didnt seem right.

My Rustonite wife is beside herself about not getting a peach one this weekend.

I promise one of our first purchases if we hit the lottery will be an Icee machine. She's even snobbish about the slurpees that most places have here. If it doesn't have a polar bear, she'll still drink it - but she'll probably talk some smack first.

Agree with your wife, the polar bear is a symbol of quality. The fancy ICEE machine didnt have it, and I questioned if it was a true ICEE, even with the fancy new spout and container.

I don't know about you guys but I prefer a Slush Puppie over an Icee.
