Amazing game.

Wow.
Tech never even got a mention as a "tough" game or a "trap" game or anyting for either Boazy or Fresno. Wow. Well, we are completely off the radar nationally, I guess.
I think both games will be close and tough and could go either way.
I noticed that as well! I guess at 0-2 we have not earned the respect yet. What the announcers dont know are the teams we have played.
I think they must also be looking at the offenses that Boise has to face and sees ours as a non-threat.
We will see. I personally believe we can sneak up on either of these teams. The longer we fly under the radar, the better we will be. Boise & Fresno feel like tonight was for the WAC Championship and are completely looking past us and Nevada. There is ALOT of football to play!

We need to start playing a lot better to have a shot at either of them. One game at a time. Lets take care of Nichols and then worry about Hawaii. Boise and Fresno are a long ways away. Lots could happend between now and then.

I don't see us scoring more than 30 pts to stay in the game with these guys.

I don't think we will have to. Our defense is stronger than Fresno's, even though it didn't show in our first 2 games. We have the defensive power to slow down Boise - but will it be enough is the question. Boise is deserving of their ranking.
As for Fresno, Boise blew some big plays and that kept Fresno in the game. Fresno will have their seasonal meltdown half way through the conference season. We will beat them.
The key will be our defense in both these games, though. We have to show what we are capable of doing and need to get that improvement now.
That was one of the most entertaining games I have watched so far this season. Great game!

Kirt H. just piled on, insulting Tech, Tulsa (whoa!) and Nevada stating "Boazy just got by the last remaining opponent that could knock them off." Well, Kirt, why should Boazy bothering playing any more games. Just make them 12-0 and wait for bowl season.
I have no problem with someone saying, Boazy will be favored over their remaining opponents, or Boazy has gotten passed opponents most likely to beat 'em...but to state "that COULD knock them off" ????????? Ya mean, there is no possibility at all? No one left on their schedule is even capable of pulling an upset? Wow!
Bulletin Board material, if you ask me.
Ya know, I respect and admire Boise State football. The program, their fans....all great! I have no problem with 'em.
But, ya know what, I'm a Tech Bulldog, first and foremost, and don't take too kindly to being dissed.
I guess the big question is, when is the Tech football team gonna finally get tired of losing to Boazy in Aillet? Maybe we need to hire Doctor Lou or Tim Tebow for a motivational speech.
Okay, back to the old high school days one more time...in 1973 (I think it was...) we were sitting at 7-0 with our last three regular season games, all district games against Holy Cross, Brother Martin, and St. Augustine. All three were ranked in the Top 10 in the state, with St. Aug sitting at #1.
The paper stated, Rummel has enjoyed a nice season but hasn't yet played THE BIG THREE, and predicted us to finish 7-3. Ah....we didn't agree. We said, THE BIG THREE haven't yet played us!
That's the attitude the Dawgs have got to adopt and believe in. Boazy hasn't played at Aillet yet this year. They're going down!
