The Fresno State QB has a lot of guts and I love to see a runner lower his helmet at full speed, but I don't think he'll survive to play against us if he keeps that up. But I did enjoy seeing him lay out that Boise defender... wow! I hope Boise only looses one game this season.:icon_wink:

Agreed. I thought Boise showed allot of weakness against the run. Obviously.

With this in mind, I hope Dooley uses a combination of RB's to keep fresh legs in the game at all times. I just don't think Porter can run as much or as far as Matthews did. I'm very concerned about Porters stamina. He just looks "tired" this year.

Got to be within 10 pts with 5 minutes remaining to be considered competitive in my book...

It wasn't competitive was it? I believe the score with 5 minutes remaining was 48 to 34. By my calculations that is approximately a 14 point difference which I believe is greater than 10 points which by your book is not a competitive ball game. Boise kicked their last field goal with 4 minutes remaining .

Porter may not be 100%...hopefully we aren't seeing the same thing we saw with Jackson last year. It's a good thing that we have the horses to keep rolling though.

Fresno uses a lot of backs, generally, even though Matthews is clearly the best player on their team.
