I have a Ruston Starbucks' Coffee Bag, and it has an image of the old Dixie Theater on it. I'm sure we've covered this before, but is it still in existence? When I was in college (back in the Stone Ages), they used to feature local talent every Friday and Saturday night. I really had some fun there, back in the day.

I like - not as much as Notini's but I think its a good dipping sauce...
Anytime I go to Monjuni's I always get an alfredo based sauce or a sandwich
''Don't be a bad dagh..."

I do too -
Except the tea - I hate it....
But they have one of the COLDEST BEERS in town on tap - it will literally have ice crystals in it once they place it in the frosted mug
I get there roast beef with provolone french dip must all the time - love their pizza and ravioli also
Not much I don't like on the menu - except the tea :icon_wink:

Notini's is my favorite place to eat. We need Martie to get his family to open another Italian place in Ruston.

A mention in another thread of Appetizers on Tech reminded me about this thread. This Appetizers place opened up on Tech drive not too long ago and it is just TERRIBLE. I went about a week after it opened and when my buddy and I tried to order a bloomin' onion, they were "fresh out" of onions, so we ordered fried cheese sticks and wanted it split on our separate tickets. Then I tried to order nachos, but their cheese melter (?) wasn't working so I ordered a burger, then I tried to order a Coke, but the machine was being serviced so i ordered a Dr. Pepper. All the while, the cashier, owner (whose second language is Enlgish, I'm pretty sure), and manager (the owners son?) couldn't figure out how to divide by two and put half the order of cheese sticks on my ticket and the other half on my buddies. It took us longer to pay than it did to cook our food. And to add insult to injury, while i was paying 10 bucks for waiting at the register for 15 minutes, I watched the "cook" rip open bags of Great Value cheese sticks, Great value hamburger patties, Great Value fried shrimp, and Great Value french fries for our order. Marked up Wal-mart food? No Thanks.
On the plus side, Phau Paris, the Thai food place at the other end of the shopping center is awesome and CHEAP.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but they're getting ready to open a sushi joint near the wal-mart shopping area. It will be a hibachi grill/sushi bar.
