Great tailgating for the game guys/gals - had a great time. Good to meet and see a lot of the BB&Brs. Other than our record, everything is very positive, IMO, in Tech land. Man, am I tired.

From The Horse's Mouth: Cops have been instructed to leave the fraternity tailgates alone. Hideaway may have been an attempt to keep the high school kids under wraps but I have been told that the current admn was really set on relaxing some rules for a better "Gameday Experience".

Funny I heard the same thing last night, almost a year after you made this post. I also heard from a current student that they were harassed in Hideaway last year.

Is there a place where I can set up for the Navy game without having a designated tailgate spot? I'm not sure how all that works, but I'd like to tailgate for that game. Any help is appreciated.

I think hideaway is 1st come 1st serve. We used to just "post-up" under a pine tree around the TAC.

If you want a pine tree across the street. Most folks come the evening before and mark their territory. :icon_wink:

There will be places that morning. I think 12:30 might be a little late. We always went the night before and marked our spot with tape. I think they are tailgating in Hideaway Park now so that would be a beautiful tailgate locale. Next to Lake Reneau.

I want to delete any that are no longer active and Argent Pavillion wasn't actually pictured when I first made this so my "Tailgate Alley" was off slightly.
