Saw him live with Bob Dylan in Dallas when I was in college back in 99 or so. I just do not get Bob Dylan. I thought he was AWFUL. Paul Simon came out and absolutely destroyed that place. He probably had 30 people in his band including three seperate rythm sections. Thanks to that concert, Boy in the Bubble is probably my favorite Paul Simon song and Graceland is a classic album for sure.

Saw Bob Dylan in the mid 80's (1984 or 1985? - might of been 86) at Reunion Arena in Dallas - Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers opened and then they served as HIS stage band -

One of the absolute best gigs I have ever seen...

I'd love to see Tom Petty. Dylan was done with Mr. Tambourine Man before I had any clue what song it was. He just seems boring to me. I understand people thing his lyrics are divine but I was honestly just bored to tears. Then Paul Simon came out and made a rock god out of the accordion player which I didn't think possible.

At KSBJ in Humble at a CD listening party for Switchfoot. They're going to discuss the background to each of the songs on their new album.

We're sitting 20 feet from them. Will get to talk with afterwards.

Ask them why they suck. Please. K, thx.

Guiss -- what I am about to say, I say in love.

You are a snob. A snob, snob, snob.

Music snob, beer sob, science snob ...

God help us if you ever develop a taste for jazz, cigars, or indy films.

Have all your friends learned to just roll their eyes at your snobulence? Or are they all snobs too?

Because you, sir, are a snob and a half.

(But I still like you. Really, I do. But is there any you could dial down the snobbery?)

I saw Petty in concert and Dave Grohl of Nirvana and Foo Fighters was the drummer. Very cool.

I asked, "My friend, a pretentious music snob who is a fan of Muse, says your music sucks. Your response?"

Their reply: "Your friend should know all about sucking because he obviously likes the c*ck."

Why didn't you mention that they've met you?
