Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squekequel.
Disappointing. Had a lot of funny lines and such, but was overall boring. Acting was practically non-existent. Just an rather empty movie.

Did not care for District 9.
Jordan Mills on choosing Tech:
“It’s a great experience seeing them play. It was a good atmosphere. The fans stood up the whole game and never sat down. They have a great fan base.”
So nothing. If you didn't like it you didn't like it. That's fine. And as far as "save yourself" recommendations yours is probably a good one. I can't imagine many reading this thread are in the target audience either.
On the other hand, if anyone reading this thread was thinking that they might like it until your post - I'd be pretty surprised. I am not surprised that you didn't like it, are you?
Y'all are nuts, D9 is incredible.
It has the highest visuals-vs-budget ratio I think I've ever seen. They squeezed an amazing looking film out of that 30 million (which is nothing, really).
Yeah the whole apartheid thing can rub you the wrong way, but acting, cinematography, and script are all really good.
I really dug it.
Oh and pass on Sherlock Holmes. Guy Ritchie more or less sucks nowadays. Jude Law is fantastic as Watson (and I hate me some Jude Law), but that's about it.
