Its funny that fried pickles came up recently.

I had some in Natchez over the week-end, before reading these posts.

Saw them on the menu at Cock of the Walk on Saturday but resisted.

Tried them Sunday at Breaud's. My wife thought I was crazy but they were pretty good stuff. I will have them again sometime soon.

Not like we needed another pizza place, but Little Ceasar's Pizza is now in Ruston. It is just to the right of Backus.

Man, it figures, months after I leave. Their $4.99 deal is AWESOME. They have my favorite pizza on the planet currently. We always pay $2 more and get the stuffed crust, that way don't need to spend extra on cheezy bread. :icon_wink:

I would love a "good" local pizza joint in Ruston.

It would also be nice to have one of those home-grown places that make individual slices the size of your head that you could customize with your choice of toppings. A selection of craft beers to wash down the pie would be an added bonus.

But Johnny's is one of the things I miss most about Ruston...
    Jordan Mills on choosing Tech:
“It’s a great experience seeing them play. It was a good atmosphere. The fans stood up the whole game and never sat down. They have a great fan base.”

Portico makes pizza from scratch. It's pretty good. A little pricey, but good.

I think he was referring to a pizza joint that was not a chain, regional or otherwise.
