Is there a ban on high school kids cutting their hair that I didn't know about? What happened to the parents that made their kids gte a freaking haircut?
Hooking up the new ice machine yourself instead of hiring a plumber - save $300
Reducing 3/8" down to 1/4" with plastic compression fittings instead of copper or steel - save $30
Waking up at 4:00 a.m. and stepping off the bed into 1" of water - priceless!!!!!!!!!!!!!
New carpets downstairs, fans and humidifiers in the house for a week, new baseboards downstairs, rugs cleaned, everyone sleeping upstairs for 2 weeks - all not so priceless.

I was introduced to a lady today at work who managed to work into the conversation three times that she went to LSU. Finally, someone asked her what year she graduated from there.
"Oh, I don't have a degree from there."

Alright, well then I went to LSU also. And after I got my TECH degree, I also spent some time at MIT and USF.

My old company handed out Zero bars to commemmerate 1 million hours worked without a recordable injury. We were supposed to keep as a reminder to stay safe. I ate it when I got layed-off.
