The Power and the Glory was one of my favorite selections of required summer reading in HS.

Well played. He is great in Dances with Wolves.

And strangely, while I think I "get" The Power and the Glory and I can see why some people really love it, it didn't do too much for me. But The Human Factor, The Quiet American, and the novelization of The Third Man (for that matter, the movie The Third Man) really impressed me.

I've become convinced that having a "comments" section on your webpage is a bad idea. I don't always read them, I would even say I usually don't read them, so maybe I'm working from too small a sample size, but I can't ever remember reading anything of value in the user comments section of any article I've ever read.

Once in a while you'll get a correction, but I don't see why that couldn't be handled with an email to the writer or editor.

True enough. I should probably re-word my original comment to something along the lines of "I've become convinced that reading the "comments" section on a webpage is a waste of time or worse."

I can see the advantage for the publisher/sales team.

So I'm watching Big Bang Theory the other day and in one scene Raj is eating Twizzlers. After it was over, I told my wife that even though I don't really like Twizzlers, they kind of sounded good. She said that she had thought the same thing. Today I bought some.

Yes and its awesome. Only drawback is sometimes you need to do it a few dozen times to get to something with any kind of substance.
