This is such a tired subject. I have completely forgotten about the JC & now this comes up again. Play them in football? NO! NEVER AGAIN!

Would like to see it again ULM vs TECH but I agree with another post on here. I feel Grambling might ba better fit and bring more fans to the game. But I wont cry about it either way.
But I voted yes because it was a GREAT atmosphere last NLU/Tech game I went to back in High School. But as I said not a huge deal Not worth fighting over.
FWIW I don't think we should play LSU either because we lose a home game long term. To me 1-1's with Tulane, Houston, Rice, SMU, TCU, Memphis etc. should be the highest priority OOC games because it puts the team in front of alumni who are not likely to be making trips to Ruston for home games. The goal long term should be to get some road trippers out of those folks. Maybe ULL because of their proximity to south Louisiana alumni. Tech doesn't need a game in Monroe to court alumni. If Monroe alums aren't driving to Ruston now, playing ULM isn't going to change that for any game OTHER than the ULM game.
Time to stir the pot again, blue. I bet the phone lines would light up.
It has not been a rivalry since 1987. You can not bring something back to life that has been dead that long.
Hell, most of the 350 people that go to their home games make it to Ruston for real college football....if LSU has an away game that week. Let those 350 watch us play Navy, USM, nevada, Boise, fresno, Hawaii........
