I do think that our Burger King in Minden may have it hands down for the worst on earth, particularly the drive-thru. The "no-escape" drive-thru is one of the worst parts. Haven't been in a while but for a long time they automatically asked you to "pull-up" to wait for your order. The weird part is that you 'pull-up" for about 10 feet and they did it even when you were the only one in line. Really, really bad service.

That's almost exactly what happened to me. The 2 cars in front of me were waiting on their orders and had us blocked in. I FINALLY got my burger, suggested to the MANAGER that they have people pull ALL THE WAY OUT of the Drive-thru to the front of the building. She rolled her eyes and shut the window on me. I ate my burger right there at the window, and then left my bag on the window when I was finally able to drive off.

.... 32 friggin' minutes....

I had forgotten about it, but I think someone told me there was to be something similar to McAllister's in the Karl Malone development off Hwy. 33. Don't remember what it's name was, but I think I mentioned it earlier in this thread. I'm too lazy to try to find it, though. And I really, really miss the Arby's across from Pearce dorm. And Quizno's on Tech Drive used to be a DQ. Wish it was still there, too.

Yup, it's now a subway. I heard that it was shut down because a few guys were selling drugs through the drive through window, and accidentally gave out some to an unsuspecting customer, who promptly reported it to the police, which led to the shut-down.

I've heard it from a few people, but I definitely can't confirm it. No matter the reason, I'd love to get one back because I looovvee Arbys and their chocolate shakes!

Would that be in the Texaco they're going to build at the corner of E. Ky. and Hwy. 33? Sign says a Texaco is coming soon. I'd love, love, love an Arby's anywhere, but that would be convenient for me as I go by it several times daily.
