When we come to town on football weekends we spend a lot of money at restaurants and bars. I will make you a deal. You go to Baton Rouge and find me a bar a few blocks away from their campus that has a four foot Tech mural on the wall, then I will spend some of that money in your place, until then not a dime. This saddens me, because you have a great concept and a place like yours is a great fit for Ruston.
As for your partner's decision to keep the tiger eye, he is proving once again the old adage that most doctors make poor businessmen. You have to separate your personal emotions from your business decisions or you are doomed to fail. For example, I love Louisiana Tech, but I live in Hattiesburg. If I open up a bar 2 blocks from USM's campus, I would have enough sense to not paint Tech (or Ole Miss or MSU) logos all over the wall. As much as it pained me, I would cover the place with Golden Eagle stuff, but then I would feel better when I was counting my money. I have yet to see a place in this town decorated with anything other than USM stuff.
Remember, the customer is ALWAYS right.

I've gotten some excellent ideas through private messaging on how to compromise. We will use a pic from the Tech/LSU game in lieu of tiger eye, and scenes from Tech playing other SEC schools (the ones we've played anyway) to round out the SEC. Now, I just need to find someone who can paint murals...and would preferred to be paid in beer:icon_wink:.

A large "fathead" of any our photos can go as big as 90 inches.
....just saying ....for anyone interested out there.

I actually thought the same thing during the course of reading through this thread (specifically, once Dawgpix posted) and was going to post such if it hadn't been brought up already.
Can't begin to claim to be the connoisseur of brews that you and some others here are, but I sure don't mind to have a nice place to take in some suds and watch games when I'm in town. Would've loved this place when I was in school.
