If you can't get aTm to come to Ruston when they are desperate for a game, you can't get them to ever come to Ruston. We have our money games for the year, bring them to Ruston or don't play them. Playing in Shreveport is an embarassment. Granted not as big as the Grambling deal but at some point we need host a big game in Ruston and sell JAS out. We have an opportunity here and a lot of people seem ok with wasting it.

Louisiana Tech played its first football game in Shreveport in 1916. That tradition needs to continue.
Wrong. That is exactly why there are OOC games. OOC games are a better measure for your team than conference. Other than this past year exception, national titles and other significant games/awards aren't decided against conference mates. If you can't win OOC, you can't win anything worth while. Yeah, conference championships are great, but there is a ceiling there. What good is winning the conference if you can't do anything else?
If you want to be at the top, you can't stay at the bottom. Right now, Tech is at the bottom and continually shoots itself in the foot in wanting to climb to the top. This deal continues that trend. Tech can't measure itself, though, without games against schools like TAMU. But, Tech already had that with Illinois and Virginia.
That is what they are expecting/wanting to clear from this game....
