If it's in Shreveport it will not be on Saturday because the Port City Classic is already scheduled for Sept. 1st in the I-Bowl.

I'd much prefer it be in Ruston, but either way, you can bet your behind I'll be blazin' a trail from San Antonio to North Louisiana to cheer my freaking lungs out! Then I can come back and rub it in everyone's face that we laid the smackdown on their beloved Aggies.

SCarolina has claimed that spot on the SEC network the last few seasons. Maybe SEC wants to showcase aTm early . . . . against a non-AQ.

TV loves Tech in stand-alone games like this. The exposure would be fabulous.

You don't have to like it, but until we can make substantial money at home, Reneau is gonna do stuff like this. We trade a <17K crowd for a game in our second home against an SEC team...it's a one for one with an SEC team.

If our fans don't show up, we better be sending a courier to the Belt with our application cause we don't belong anywhere else.

Gotta put up or shut up.

I'm talking about a season ticket base that allowed them (financially) to schedule more selectively. My point is not that we'll sell more season tickets because of the A&M game, but that we have to take a million dollar pay-day (FOR A HOME GAME) because we don't have the season ticket base to make our money at home.

I wouldn't be opposed to swapping out Illinois for A&M in Shreveport. I was concerned from the get go that two back-to-back bcs road games(Ill & UVA) is a little too ambitious.
