Didn't catch her first name Dudley - African American chamber rep in SBC; supports LSUS-Tech merger

I think her words will go a long way
So far the pro-merger folks are taking the opposition to the woodshed, talking only about budget, business opportunity, and community needs...

This feels like a gameday thread! I've got reload everything 30 seconds on and everything!
Rich Descoteaux speaking now. He is the leader of the Manufacturing Managers Council manager for Northwest Louisiana. He says that we need the merger to attract businesses to NW Louisiana and to build a quality workforce. He said that several businesses have decided to locate elsewhere only because Shreveport does not have a comprehensive research university.
"We put a university everywhere we have a 4-way stop sign"![]()
Scott Hughes, Executive Director of the Alliance for Education (K-12), supports the merger.

Where was Richard going with his comments about Nichols St?
Richard pissed, Nicholls gets 10mill with 7,000 students and LSUS gets 10mil with 3,000
Come on Richard leave the lady alone about SUNO/UNO merger last year...
Will we hear proponents?
Rep. Richard asking Hazel Dudley about the position of the State African-American Council (or something like that) regarding the UNO-SUNO merger. They were both supposed to be what's best for the economy. She said they took no formal position. Ouch!
