We all know each other. No, seriously. One of the things that makes this site unique among college sports message boards is that we make it a point to meet one another. I can say with confidence I've personally met 80-90% of BBB members with more than 1000 posts. (And I liked all but one of them.)

Well, my dad is also presently married, so I guess y'all are all qualified. Carry on then with the discussion...

I do find it easy to maintain my integrity--seeing how nobody is offering me MILLIONS OF DOLLARS!!!

I started going to TAG stuff, but I moved to Lafayette in January so I haven't done anything with it since then. I guess I just run in a small circle and never chatted many people up as I should have.

Well maybe y'all should start wearing name tags, it's not like I walk into crowds and ask what your BBB handle is .

Or you could always win a Tech cap with your screen-name printed on it in a BB&B bracket contest.

If more people would just do that, it'd make it a lot easier to spot other members.

I haven't met Champ967 yet, so he can't be talking about me.

We have. It was at one of the old BBB tailgates, up on the hill behind the TAC. I couldn't tell you which game, but larhob was cooking ribs. You're actually quite charming in person.

The only BBBer I ever disliked right away was a former player who's now a chigger fan. He was both mean and ignorant, a nasty combination.

The problem with that story is what happens if he then bolts after next season? I don't think this has anything to do with Mike's integrity. He was courted, he listened, he deliberated and after deciding it wasn't the best fit, he stayed for at least one more year.

Agreed. No doubt White is a great guy, but this was a business decision. Tenn offer lacked long term security so he decided to stay. He is well aware that if his veteran team lives up to or exceeds expectations next year, he will have much more bargaining power. Given his current contract, and his likeliness to continue putting a winning team on the court, he can wait for the right job and right contract. Wish we could match any offer. If he stayed around for a decade or so, there is no telling the places Tech bball could go.

Should White eventually wind up at Ole Miss and Tyndall hangs around at UTK, the Rebel/Vol games should be pretty interesting. Hopefully we will have to wait a few years to see that happen though.... :icon_wink:
