(okay 5'9" with his boots on)
He could kick tail and never ever have his hat knocked off. All the bad guys couldn't swing that low.![]()

Remember the Three Mesquiteteers? Seems like Bob Steele was one at some time. I know John Wayne was.










Just Googled them, and yes Bob was in 21 of the films. John Wayne only in 8.










I wasn't sure about Bob Steele and it turned out he was in more than John Wayne. I didn't know they made so many. Remember Al Bolton had a TV show on Channel 12 about four in the PM and he showed the old B westerns. Lots of old Roy Rogers (not the 50's), Gene Autry etc.
