I am sick of su and sick of all the apologist on this sight. So what if people had to walk to the stadium. It happens every where get over it and yourself (su)
I had fun and enjoyed SU but the message board crap has come across to me as though the implication was they were doing us a favor.
Why totally discount feedback? It wouldnt be hard at all to use the shuttles plan for the ULL game to shuttle RV fans down to the stadium. I hope we play Southern again and that would be a simple fix for what
As far as RV parking for Tech fans and shade trees, of course that would be great!

SU is a SMALLER School than Louisiana Tech! Many times Louisiana Tech has been on the road as the SMALLER school and our fans had to walk a LOT farther than 3/4 of a mile to the stadium. When we won such as in Tuscaloosa, East Lansing or Oxford we could care less how far we walked. When we came close such as in Auburn, Lincoln, NE or Starkvegas we weren't happy but we struck it up as part of the learning curve and still appreciated the great game day experience. In other cases when it wasn't so close we counted our money, took our licks and appreciated a great game day experience. Losing isn't fun, never is, never will be, and if you like it we will probably never get along, but don't rag on MY SCHOOL on OUR MESSAGE BOARD when you get your asses kicked in OUR HOUSE fair and square cause you aren't fit enough to walk less than mile, especially when your school us cashing a six figure check for doing nothing but getting thrashed. It's poor form!
Bahha lets just put all the old people out of their misery then.
I saw an older SU hoofing it up the hill after the game, its no joke for older person. The shuttles plan for ULL would be an easy fix next time if we play SU again
He made a simple observation that would have made the visit a little better. Nothing more and nothing less. Take it for what it is.

Lord have mercy. It's okay to receive and accept some constructive criticism. My hope is this: what were issues on Saturday for some SU fans will be issues for TECH fans in the not too distant future. Instead of being hypersensitive to anything and everything, let's listen and THEN decide if a tweak here and there makes sense for next time.
Come on Dawgs, we had a great day on Saturday...on to WKU.

Totally agree. Very valid points on things that have been problems for years. We know it is a problem. Sometimes it takes outsiders to help push for a change. That is all.
So you agree that we need to focus on making things better for our visitors and not our own fans? He is not complaining about things that have been a problem for years. He is complaining about things that will only happen again when/if Southern returns.

Yep, my elderly parents have an "A" parking pass, and couldn't park in the "A" lot Sat night. They had to walk about a half mile, to the stadium, and they really aren't in good enough health to do that. So essentially, LA Tech sold a service that it couldn't deliver.
When I'm older at Tech games:
I've had family use parking as one reason (among others) not to come to a Tech. Things that visiting fans complain about are also issues for our more marginal fans.
This has been the problem that needs fixing. I am of the opinion that you don't sell more passes than you have spaces for.
