Just once, I'd like to see LA Tech surprise me by winning one they were not expected to win. It's been a long time since that has happened with this program.

I was trying to think when the last one was. I know we were barely dogs against WKU at home earlier this year (3 points I believe). Other than that, was it one of those ULL games? I feel like we were more than a touchdown underdog in at least one of those games. Was that the HOD year?

The last game I truly felt we should not have won, but did, was 2003 at Michigan State.

Yep, it was the HOD year. The Tabasco Leopards were supposed to skull drag us, and were so confident they had a group of our recruit prospects on the sidelines to witness it.

So, who's going to Kentucky for this game? Got an email about tix for the game, on sale at the Tech tix office.

First, it's not really practical to travel that far for a game. Heck! I was gonna be in trouble going to Shreveport Saturday, had that actually happened. But, travel issues aside...it's hard to get excited about a team that doesn't seem to care themselves.

Our group had purchased 22 tickets for the Championship game in Shreveport. None of us will be going to Kentucky!

Special teams will be the biggest key to the game. If they consistently start out on the 50 yard line or better like earlier this year, we're toast. Kick coverage better be getting their act together for this one.

Offensive line would be a close second. If we are one dimensional on offense we lose. They know they can score on us, so if we can't run or abandon it they will be aggressive on defense and come after Higgins all night. We need the Oline to be able to open some holes for Craft and Scott to help keep the offense balanced which will help tremendously with the air attack.

Wasn't this the narrative going into the Southern Miss game? We'd won 7 in a row. Southern Miss was headed in the opposite direction. Isabella did a story on just that. That's why they play the games, fellas.
