Can anyone name an Assistant Coach that Holtz has actually fired since he has been at Tech? I'm not say he hasn't because sometimes the coaches just move to other schools before they are fired.

I think HCSH would be someone who always gives an Assistant a "way out" such as a resignation or tells them start looking for a job. I just do not see him as someone who likes to do the firing thing, does not fit his MO.

yep, and I do believe that Skip helps them find something elsewhere in which they may be more successful. People want to work with leaders like that.

You two, along with many others, have forgotten that Spangler's defense was as responsible for 2011 as the Dykes/Franklin offense. Spangler passed up a better FBS offer after that year because he was loyal to Dykes and his defensive players. Dykes/Franklin and their "system" caused our defensive woes in 2012 not Spangler's coaching.

...and they have been consistently bad with HCSH. We have fans screaming for a special teams coach, but HCSH has ALWAYS been in charge of special teams. Just some really stupid stuff today and against USM.

. Agree with you-- they always refer to it as a Tech "family" and CUSA is known for crazy wide open offense not defense -- whatever happens Coach will do it with as much class as possible.
